BIG RED RIDE 2023
INFORMATION PACK
Thanks for signing up to ride our cycle challenge on 5/3/23 (5th March 2023). The first rider is off at 9:00 am but, please do arrive early for the riders briefing at 8:55 am. The event is run on a reliability trial basis. There will NOT be any marshals on the route, and it is everyone’s responsibility to look after themselves.
However, the route will be provided both as a map and as a URL link for those of you with Garmin type instruments.You will be set off in groups of around 20 for safety reasons. Those of you who know you will complete in around 3hrs or less should present themselves at the front of the first group away, and others with a lesser average speed would sort themselves accordingly
. A RIDERS BRIEFING WILL BE HELD IN THE CENTER AT 08.55 PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ATTEND.

The headquarters will be at the John Fretwell Centre which is sited on the A60 at Sookholme Rd, Mansfield, NG19 8LL.
The facility has plenty of car parking, toilets etc and refreshments will be served from here during the duration of the event.
This year we're running a barcode entry system for online signups.
You will need to bring the digital ticket on your mobile or a printed copy on the day of the event. If neither of those options are possible for you we can search by payment name to check you into the event.
