Founded in the town of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, Mansfield Road Club is a cycling club with a great enthusiasm for every part of cycling. Formed in the mid-eighties, the club soon picked up a notoriety for delivering top riders at just about every cycling discipline, be it road racing, hill climbing, track, time trialling or mountain biking – the acclaimed red and white jerseys would always be prominent at the front of the races – be it national champions, area champions, record breakers or representing Great Britain.
Mansfield Road Club was the benchmark that other clubs strived to emulate! After 20 years, the energy for cycling has come back to Mansfield! The ethos of the club is simple – to be a home for similar individuals, who just want to ride their bikes and have a laugh whilst doing it! Whether it is top level racing or rolling out for a recreational ride, Mansfield Road Club is back! Make sure you head over to the Mansfield Road Club Facebook page and we’ll see you out on the road!

The Sunday ride is great for getting more miles in your legs, and meeting a lot of the club members. The route changes from week to week, but is generally longer distance with a café stop in the middle of the ride to refuel with coffee and cake! Don’t worry about the pace either, since we have a faster and steadier group. Make sure you head over to the Mansfield Road Club Facebook page, where a senior member of the club will post route details for the Sunday ride.Sunday Weekend Ride
